My 74 bay

Hello, I got my bay in 2003 - it was built in South Africa, was imported into Sweden in 2002/2 and then to the UK.

Last year I bought this engine which looked like it lived in a swamp for a few years 

and I made it into this.

This is the first time I have built an engine. It is an 1800 type 4 with dellorto 40mm carbs and a very mild tune cam. It has electronic ignition and Taylor Spiro leads. The colour is sparkle candy apple powder coated. It now has a loud exhaust too

I am planning on building something a bit hotter over the winter time

I didn't like the way the bus handled on this wheel and tyre combination, so I bought so empi replica Fuchs wheels with Avon tyres. It is now much better
