Cold Balls 2025 – Ten year anniversary
Ten years of snow ice and great company!
This event will as previous years be open for all Volkswagen type 1,2,3 or 4 (including buggy/kitcar). Alternative engine, also non air cooled VW boxer, is allowed.

For this anniversary we will be hanging out at another location than previous years. We will have the ice track just outside the island Norderön which is located in Storsjön, Swedens 5th biggest lake. Norderön is located 20 km outside the city Östersund, Sweden. The island is during the winter accessible via an ice road on the lake, or a ferry if the car + trailer is above 2000kg.
The driving will be done on a 3km+ long circuit on the ice, and we will start on Friday evening with some driving in the dark. Having good lighting is an advantage! Dinner will be served during the evening at Restaurant Tivars, located close to the track.
On Saturday morning we’ll open up for driving on the ice again until around 17:00. Lunch and Swedish fika (coffee with sweets) can be bought during the day.
Saturday evening ends with a fine three course dinner served at our base camp at Sandviken camping!
Prices:
• Driver with his/her own car, overnight stay Friday-Sunday, 2x breakfast, dinner on Friday and a three-course dinner on Saturday – 3000SEK (280EUR)
• Co-driver, overnight stay Friday-Sunday, 2x breakfast, dinner on Friday and a three- course dinner on Saturday – 2300SEK (210EUR)
Our base camp will be at Sandviken camping, 15 km from the track, located on the main land, and rooms will correspond to simple hostel standard.
Please note, the maximum number of beds and attendees for the dinner is limited to only 50 persons! Don’t wait too long until you register, participants with car will have priority. Maximum one co-driver will be allowed per car at registration.
When we have reach 50 registration it is still possible to sign up for the driving. You will though have to arrange dinner and staying over yourself on another location.

Please note that your registration for CB2025 is not guaranteed until the payment is done.
Also note that there will be no money refund if you wish to cancel your registration at a later stage. It is though allowed to pass on the registration to someone else.
Visitors without cars are of course welcome to come and watch, at no cost!
