Hej Hej,
I have a big problem with my steering box. The thread from the side cover, that adjusts the strenth of the steering, is busted. One option is to mak ea new one with w helicoil.
The other is to get a new cover, or a new box altogether.
By any chance anyone has or know  who has one of this brazilian steering boxes? or parts that fit?The come complete with the rod all the way to the steering wheel.

Here some photos:

Helicoil should be a good fix for that. Durable and strong.

Yes, I am thinking of that as the quick fix. But I have 2 things.
1) it is not a standard thread, so I cannot fix it until monday when I can go to a store in Uppsala (Dione) to buy ir. It is M12 1.00 (standard is 1.75)
2) the side sector and the threaded piece inside (don't know the names) and also both worn out; so I replacement would be in place.

You can't replace both thread and screw to standard m12x1,75?
