Street/Race beetle 1500-67

VW Beetle 1967-1500 Street/Racecar.

Two owners since 1967, im my care since 1987. Race car since 1997.
Still registered as a road car with Roll cage and larger rear tires and
increased engine power ”60hp” in papers.

All steel body with windscreen/door glas in Lexan and plexiglas.
Some inner parts removed for reduced weight. Colur, Jasmine-Yellow LK1D.

Chassie.
Roll cage goes all way back to rear transmission attachment including flywheel protection. ”A must for turbo/supercharged applications”

Front. Narrowed balljoint beam with adjusters and adjustable drag-shocks.
Rear. Sway-a-way springplates/alu-retainers, 28mm torsionsbars, QA1 adj. shocks.
Wheeliebar attachment and wheeliebar from Big-Wig raceparts.

Brakes.
Front, stock discbrakes with dual bolt pattern Chevy/Porsche.
Rear, custom made discbrakes with Dual bolt pattern Chevy/Porsche.
Staging brake on front wheels and working parking brake rear.

Wheels. Weld Racing with 26/8-15 slicks and M&H frontrunners.

Transmission.
Welded Rhino-magnesium case with weddle HD sideplate and steelretainers.
Aluminum spool with Finnish race axles ”-66 style”
Finnish race gears 1-4, ”No syncros”, Reinforced hockeystick and shiftrods
Input shaft weddle 300M torsional twist. Final drive 4.125:1
Clutch, Black magic/Kennedy stage 1 pressure plate.

Engine.
Scat flanged crank 84mm-type 4 center bearing, Scat Con-rods 5.500´
Wiseco 94mm thin-ring pistons in JPM cylinders
JPM custom cam with magnum gears, JPM alu-pushrods and pushrod tubes.
CB-comp. heads. Titanium valves 48/40mm, titanium retainers, K800 springs.
Pauter 1.4-1 alu.rockers, Wasp stage 3 exhaust/stinger
Auto-linea alu.case with dry-sump/full flow oil system. 8 liter tank.
Custom made 58mm fuel injection system.
Fuel/ign. management by ECU Master with logging module. MSD6A/distributor
Bosch 044 fuelpump with return regulator. 10 liter custom fueltank
Fuel, E85.
